Berlin, Germany – Recently, the European Heart Rhythm Association Annual Meeting 2024 (EHRA 2024) was successfully held in Berlin. Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. (referred to as "MicroPort EP") actively participated in the exhibition with a number of innovative products, demonstrating its leading technology in the field of arrhythmia treatment.
During the exhibition, MicroPort EP exhibited a number of innovative products in the field of electrophysiological interventional diagnosis and ablation therapy, including Columbus™ 3D EP Navigation System (referred to as "Columbus™ 3D System") and its compatible products, such as FireMagic™ TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter (referred to as "TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter"), EasyStars™ High Density Mapping Catheter (referred to as "EasyStars™ Catheter"), EasyLoop™ 3D Circular Mapping Catheter and PathBuilder™ Transseptal Guiding Introducer, etc. In addition, IceMagic™ CryoAblation Catheter and IceMagic™ CryoAblation Console, the first domestic cryoablation products approved for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, made its debut at the congress, attracting wide attention among EP physicians.
As a comprehensive EP products provider, MicroPort EP’s booth has attracted phycisians from Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Argentina, including Dr. Néstor López Cabanillas, Vice-president of the Latin American Heart Rhythm Society (LAHRS). Dr. Néstor López Cabanillas recently completed several successful procedures using the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter and the EasyStars™ Catheter. He spoke highly of products’ excellent clinical performance. TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter could provide accurate and real-time force feedback, covering a variety of clinically utilized bending curve, which meet the demands of various arrhythmia. The Enegy Index (EI) provides reliable ablation parameters for the physician, which helps to predict the ablation lesion in real time, thus improving the ablation efficacy. At booth, he once again expressed his expectation to MicroPort EP’s innovative products in the future.
Furthermore, two experts from Europe experienced EasyStars™ Catheter and said that the catheter features good maneuverability and could easily enter the small branches in the heart chamber. IceMagic™ CryoAblation Catheter with surface temperature measurement has attracted great interest among physicians. It can measure the surface temperature of the balloon in real time and evalsuate the occlusion status of pulmonary veins, which can significantly improve the efficacy of cryoablation procedures.
During the congress, MicroPort EP has set up a workshop in simulation village, where physicians could experience EasyLoop™ 3D Circular Mapping Catheter and EasyStars™ Catheter for real-time modeling and automatic mapping. Three experts from Germany spoke highly of the automatic mapping of the latest software version of Columbus™ 3D System. When integrated with high-density mapping catheters, the Columbus™ 3D System can accurately acquire mapping points in a short time, and greatly improve the efficacy and safety of arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment.
For now, MicroPort EP's products have been exported to more than thirty countries and regions. In the future, MicroPort EP will actively expand its global reach, providing more comprehensive products and professional services to patients and physicians, offering a globally competitive integrated solution for electrophysiology intervention diagnosis and treatment.
