Recently, the Central Asia Arrhythmia Summit was successfully held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. This conference brought together leaders in cardiac electrophysiology from Europe, America, and Asia, as well as arrhythmia specialists from Central Asia, to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the field of arrhythmias.
Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech Co., Ltd. (referred to as "MicroPort EP") actively participated in the conference with Columbus™ 3D EP Navigation System and its accompanying FireMagic™ TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter (referred to as the "TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter") and other products, attracting the attention and inquiries of numerous delegates.
Professor Yao Yan, the Director of the Arrhythmia Center at Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, was invited as the first representative expert from Asia to attend the conference. He shared his experience and latest strategies in the treatment of complex atrial fibrillation and presided over the Central Asian premiere of the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter, marking the catheter official entry into the Central Asian market.
During the conference, Professor Yao Yan successfully performed a procedure demonstration using the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter on a patient with tachycardia. The patient was a 32-year-old male who had frequent premature beats before the radiofrequency ablation procedure, which significantly reduced after the procedure. During the procedure, the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter provided real-time and precise force feedback, with its tip's vector arrow and steering indication enhancing the convenience of catheter manipulation and improving procedure safety.
After the surgery, Professor Yao Yan stated that the TrueForce™ Ablation Catheter, independently developed by MicroPort EP as the first domestically produced pressure-sensing magnetic positioning radiofrequency ablation catheter, provides real-time pressure contact indices during surgery, enhancing the precision and safety of ablation procedures. Its premiere in Central Asia will bring new treatment options to local patients and build a new bridge for medical cooperation and exchanges between China and countries along the "One Belt One Road" route.
In the future,MicroPort EP will continue to strengthen its collaboration with "One Belt One Road" countries in promoting innovation, deepen technical exchanges and cooperation, jointly drive scientific research breakthroughs and clinical applications in the field of electrophysiology, and provide patients and doctors with more complete products and professional services, and provide electrophysiological interventional diagnosis and treatment integrated solutions with global competitiveness.
